We are a team of dreamers…
We are working to tackle the biggest challenges of the semiconductor era, leveraging our expertise and resources in the world of photonics and electronics.
Dream Photonics Inc. is a technology spin-off from UBC, co-founded by Prof. Lukas Chrostowski and Prof. Sudip Shekhar, combining decades of academic and industry experience in silicon photonics and CMOS electronics.
Dream Photonics is actively engaged in process design kit development for silicon photonics foundries across the globe. Simulation, design, and test data for silicon photonics components are provided by Dream Photonics to the foundry such that customers can use these components in their designs with confidence. Dream photonics has access to the first tool in the world capable of performing photonic wire bonding as a service. This service offers fiber-to-chip, chip-to-chip, and on-chip laser and fiber integration with silicon photonics via photonic wire bonds. Dream Photonics is also working with several end customers on their system IP needs.
In short, Dream Photonics wants to realize a world with billions of silicon photonic devices and is eager to work with you to make that happen.
